James (Jim) Haw holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, and his career spans 32 years in various engineering and management roles in Instrumentation, Electrical, and Automation, in the paper, plastics, refining, and oil & gas industries.
Jim is a career member of ISA, and currently serves as the Education Chairman of the Texas Channel Section, and is a past District 7 VP, as well as past ISA International Executive Board Member. He also serves as an Automation and Electrical advisor to the Emerson Global User’s Exchange Board of directors. He is a registered Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Texas, a Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP), and a Project Management Professional (PMP).
Jim resides in La Porte, TX, with his wife, Kim. They have three children and one grandchild. Jim has been an avid woodworker for over 45 years, enjoys motorcycling, and is an ostensible drummer.
